Austrian gothic/heavy metal project Adder’s Fork released a new music video for “The Fatalist (A Coming Dark)”, song taken from the new EP called The Fatalist, which is out today.
Project founding member Marko stated:
The new Adder’s Fork EP The Fatalist is the continuation of the Gothic Metal sound explored on the previous EP, The Individualist. I see these two releases as siblings: put together, they’d work well as a full-length album, albeit the stylistic ingredients are not identical. The Fatalist relies on less abrupt genre shifts then its predecessor, but weaves the Post-Punk and 80s Goth influence more into the vocal tone and the overall feel of the compositions, instead of having a contrasting effect.
The Fatalist offers sounds for those who like their Heavy Metal catchy yet without compromise, melodic without getting sugary and meaningful without losing focus on the main goal: having a blast with my music!
