Please introduce yourself.
I am Ile, vocalist of God Disease.
When your band was created?
We started God Disease with our bass player Henry originally in 2010 but it took 3 years to find the right people for this band.
What the style do you play?
We are a Death Metal Band.
How could you describe your music by several words?
Our music is crushing Old School Death Metal with some Black Metal influences.
What is the main theme of your lyrics?
Lyrics in our songs vary from war to swamp monsters and necromancers. Small dark stories inspired by movies and Lovecraft.
What would you like to achieve with the band activity?
As a band we would like to achieve long an constant career and to be a part of Death Metal scene world wide.
How many gigs you have played so far and maybe you visit another countries with concerts?
We have played about 12 shows all in Finland, but we are always looking for a possibility to play outside our country´s borders.
Is there anything very important about your band what SHOULD know fans and labels?
What labels and Fans should know about us is that when playing live it´s always a savage show of Death Metal that comes from our hearts. No posers here.
What the formats you would like to see your releases, CD, Vinyl, Tape…? And how do you see future of physical releases?
Our first EP was published on tape, but I would love to see a Cd and vinyl releases too! What it comes to physical releases.. I never buy my music online, I want it on physical form. It is a MUST.
When you will get label deal, would you like to help to the label with promotion from your side, or you want label do all without your help?
We always do selfpromotion, but If singed with a label, I think it is also their job to promote us.
What’s your reaction towards negative opinions about your music?
We do listen to negative comments of our music and if it´s justified we learn from it, but “your band sucks” is not useful for anyone. Our music is what we do and it is not for everyone.
And last question, how do you like our webzine, do you have some remarks towards its look or functionality?
I like your idea of unsinged bands previews. Hard to find new fans without outside help!
