Leiþa – Black Metal mixed with progressive riffs and Jazz influences set June 25th as international release date for the debut album “Sisyphus”!

The first Single ‘Sisyphus’ launched along with album pre-order on band’s Bandcamp here: https://noisebringer-records.bandcamp.com/album/sisyphus

This album came to life as a result of doubt and self-loathing.
That pale face that stares right back at you morning after morning from the reflection of your mirror as it displays the miserable outcome of your own existence onto yourself. The bitter taste of bile and cigarette ash you inherit following yet another day trapped in the eternal vicious circle of a worthless existence.
It is those moments certainty spits you in the face with a blend of disgust and resistance.
In moments exactly like that be sure of just one thing:
You are not the only one.

Album tracklisting:
1. Sisyphus
2. Endlos
3. Sterben um zu sterben
4. Gib mir Heimat
5. Mühsal
6. Prometheus
7. Der Feind lebt in mir
8. Töte dich

After his groundbreaking success with his one-man-project Kanonenfieber, mastermind Noise is back with his next release.

Leiþa means suffering in old German and this describes this project perfectly.
The album „Sisyphus“ was written in a very depressive manner and covers topics like self-hatred, futility and suicide.

Musically Leiþa is influenced by black metal, progressive metal and a touch of jazz.
Most of the album was written, recorded, mixed and mastered from March to May 2021 in the Noisebringer Studio. The drums were recorded in the rehearsal room of session-drummer Noderra, who played the drums under the direction of Noise.

Sisyphus will be released on 25th of June via Noisebringer Records.
