FUNERAL EXHUMATION “Absurdity of Becoming”

Once I got message on the side of a label. Or maybe the first was friend request?!? Anyway, the most important is that the result was a talk about this stuff. Then I got it (in digital version of course). And here we go…

This project is an effect of international (and even intercontinental) cooperation. One of the members is from Croatia and second is from Canada. I think that if not internet they’d even don’t know about each other’s’ existence. So, as we can see and for what F. E. is a proof, internet has also good sides. By the way, I know not so many about this project. I’m only sure of the fact that there play who play and that “Absurdity…” is a debut demo.

It contains five songs of… Hell knows how to call it!!! It has surely something to do with Gore. But it’s nothing what you can think about when you hear word “gore”. Actually I hear here only drums, sometimes bass and gore-grind grumblings. OH… I hear also some samples quite often. Music is calm and sometimes there’re some sick twisted fragments in that. But mostly it’s just a calm and rather monotonous beating of drums and bass. It sounds a little like Industrial. I was never fan of sounds like that and that’s why I’ll don’t write a word more about this stuff.

For me the best part of it all is vocal. There’s anything special in that as well – just grumblings. But they’re really deep and make this music at least a little (in my modest opinion) connected with Metal. So if somebody likes sick music, Industrial meeting Gore or however it can be called than this stuff is just for this person. Rest should keep clear of this!!! Sound is poor, music at least strange… But there’s something in that…
