Earlier this year, Tankard released full-lenght ”One Foot in the Grave” (June 2ed, 2017; Nuclear Blast). On September 5th, EP “Schwarz-weiß wie Schnee” was released for Nuclear Blast. Originally “Schwarz-weiß wie Schnee” was released eleven years ago (August, 2006; AFM Records). This EP is not interesting just for Tankard fans, but also for Bundesliga fans.

Tankard is from Frankfurt am Main, Hesse. So, as they are football fans, it is natural to support Eintracht Frankfurt. Anthem ”Schwarz-weiß wie Schnee” was officially published in 1999. In May 2017, Tankard performed the same song at sold out Olympia Stadium in front of 30 000 football fans. They used the chance to record it live and parts where thousands of fans are singing were used for final chorus:

EP continues with ”One Foot in the Grave” from previous album and ”Girl Called Carveza” (first Nuclear Blast release). At the end there is 10 minutes live version of ”(Empty) Tankard” which dates from 1986 and their debut ”Zombe Attack” (Noise Records).
This EP is familiar to Tankard fans. But, why should you buy this version if you already have one from 2006? Maybe guest appearances will (Henni Nachtsheim, Ande Warner and Roy Hammer and low price will persuade you to add this EP to your collection.
