Hey there, I’m Rafael Siqueira, from Brazil, an independent musician with Tacaz since 2016 after had playing with some bands on my hometown.
When your band was created?
My one-man-band was created in March 2016 and released its first demo one month later, April 2016.
What genre do you play?
How could you describe your music in several words?
Bitter, raw and misanthropic.
What is the main theme of your lyrics?
Paganism, War, Violence, Anti-christianity.
What would you like to achieve with the band activity?
Respect and personal satisfaction.
How many gigs have you played so far and maybe you visit some other countries with concerts?
I played with Persecuter and Shield Wall (my past bands) such like 20 underground gigs or something like this. Tacaz never played live but maybe in the future I hold a session lineup for this.
Is there anything very important about your band what MUST know fans and labels?
Tacaz is a cult to the personal evolution and still is a cult to the human decay.
In what formats would you like to see your releases, CD, Vinyl, Tape…? And how do you see the future of physical releases?
Vinyl and Tape are my preferences. Total cult to the analogic formats. But CDs are acceptable. I see physical released and its future like a line between who listens or who LIVES the metal art.
When you will get label deal, would you like to help to the label with promotion from your side, or you want the label to do everything without your help?
Sure I would like to help. It should be a mutual work.
What’s your reaction towards negative opinions about your music?
Maybe insignificant, maybe not so as it should be.
And the last question, how do you like our webzine, do you have some remarks towards its look or functionality?
I liked it very well. Found it some time ago by searching for some interviews… like the interview with Satanic Warmaster.
