Brutal Queen
Hammerheart Records
Release: 19 September 2016

Woah! Thanks to Alex, Antichrist magazine editor for sending me this promo! First of all, I like old-school death metal, but my another favorite thing is old-school metal-girls, moreover when they tearing guitar strings, destroying drum-kit and spewing brutal voices from their throats, hehe!

Well! Never heard about this band before, so probably Brutal Queen is the very first stuff of them! Four pretty girls from The Netherlands playing old-school death metal. What I like most of all, I have found some modern tunes in their music, so the entire EP sounds enough mature and sick. The music Sisters Of Suffocation presented on this EP is not just typical death metal massacre, but they did it with enough of technical parts, which makes their music more interesting, such technical things like using Arch Enemy and Decapitated for example.

To say by couple words – here is the wall of massive and technical death metal sickness, no more no less!

I recommend this band for all death metal freaks!

Cheers from France / Rob

About the author

All that stuff about heavy metal and hard rock, I don't subscribe to any of that. It's all just music. I mean, the heavy metal from the Seventies sounds nothing like the stuff from the Eighties, and that sounds nothing like the stuff from the Nineties. Who's to say what is and isn't a certain type of music?
