Recently Dead Center prods released first EP from this Italian thrash metal band, album got pretty positive feedbacks, and now you can finally read interview with these maniacs!

Hello guys! How are you these Spring days? Please tell brief history of your band.

(Ayrton) Hey Alex! Nothing special really, we’re just rehearsing with the new drummer Tony Appugliese! Anyway, Fallout H.R. was founded in 2013 by me, Raph Castellucci (guitars\vocals) and the former drummer Simone “Mitra” Splendore.

Couple months ago was released your EP Album “Human Crime”. Can you now conclude how there’s feedback regarding your music? And actually what did you expected from release and what you got as for now?

(Ayrton) We’re actually getting very positive reviews from all over the web, both from Italian and foreign webzines, we are really encouraged by them and we’re willing to do better. Our EP aims to prepare the ground for the next release.

Tell please the main theme of the lyrics on the album. Album title is “Human Crime”, what did you put into this title and how does it matches with the all lyrics on the album?

(Ayrton) Our lyrics are written together with the music, and a title like “Human Crime” perfectly sums both the musical and the lyrical content of our release, matching our bloody and politically active themed songs with our crushing and pounding music.

Fallout H. R. plays thrash metal, and your songs are not about beer and bitches, but about more mature themes, so why you decided to sing not about beers and parties, and highlighting more serious themes in your music?

(Raph) Because everyone’s talking about beer and bitches and it brings no fresh element, artistically wise. In addition, we strongly believe that music is a way to diffuse emotions and social subjects that are very important.

As I know, Ayrton is also playing in heavy metal band Impülse (on bass), they have last stuff recorded back in 2013, and now looks like in hiatus or something like that? Isn’t it so difficult for you to share your time between two bands? And can you say definitely that Fallout H. R. is your main band?

(Ayrton) Actually we are not on hiatus, we’re just trying to bring new elements to our music. That requires some time to figure out what works and what could be improved. No, it’s not difficult when you put the same effort in the two different bands. They’re equally important to me.

Ok, please tell us what the sense you put in band’s title? Fallout H. R., you know, if you’ll type such into the google search engine you’ll get an info regarding self-titled video-game.

(Raph) Yeah, we know about the homonymy, but Fallout H.R. really is a name that contains our interest in the post-nuclear “theme”, and allow us to range in this kind of stuff.

You have pretty good videoclip, launched recently; who you decided to do video to this song directly, how long you have worked it out and how are you satisfied with the finish result?

(Ayrton)  Silent Deception perfectly sums our album, we worked together with a professional (Fabio Molinari) and the entire process was very organized but, at the same time, very fun.

What about gigs? How often you play live and do you planning to visit some other countries in EU or maybe somewhere far away? What is you raider-list if you have?

(Raph) We have enough gigs according to our circumstances (genre and local venues) and we do planning to visit foreign countries. We’re willing to play everywhere, if possible.

For me, seems like Italian metal scene is something like huge brotherhood between bands, and do not have a matter if one band is into thrash or black metal etc. Is it true and how could you describe Italian metal scene at all?

(Raph) There are actually a lot of flaws in the italian metal scene, mainly due to the venues policy, the listeners’ behaviors and the relationship between bands. Luckily, there are some awesome people that support you, not only as musician. They know the struggles to be in a band (‘cause they often have one).

Well, who are you in the common life? Job, families, children etc? Are you all into Fallout H. R. close friends and your deal is not band just, and you share the time with beers etc?

(Ayrton) Fallout H.R is a band made up of close friends, that share time, stuff and….beers! We have a lot of fun together and I believe this is the right way to create a bond that makes a band bigger.

What do you know about Ukraine as a country and maybe you even know some our bands?

(Ayrton) Well, I think the two nations are not geographically connected, but they’re not distant as one may think. In fact, a lot of Ukrainians live in Italy. Yeah, we don’t know a lot of bands, but we listened to some of them like Reactor, Inferno and Sad Alice Said.

What do you think about events now happens in Ukraine, i.e. conflict with Russia and etc? What the finish result do you see in the near future?

(Ayrton) It’s a shame, really. We could only imagine what people are experiencing. In addition, we strongly doubt that our media are telling us what’s really going on there.

Ok, thx for your time, great music and devotion! Keep it thrashing! \m/

(Ayrton) Thanks for this opportunity, we are very pleased to give an insight of what we play and who we are. I also want to thank a friend of ours, Roberto Di Girolamo, for helping us with stuff since day one. Finally thanks to everyone supporting us and following us on facebook!!
