Quite well thank you. Pastry chef in the morning, metalhead in the night. And advertising keeps me busy lately.

Tell me when Seal of Solomon was formed.
We were planning to form a band back in 2009, but we were able to establish it properly on 2012.

“I the King” was released last year via WormHoleDeath records, tell me about this release.
We have planned to release an LP after our EP’s success. By the end of 2013, we got in the Dull Goat Recording House and recorded the album in about a month or so, than immediately started searching for labels and  WormHoleDeath Records provided us the best deal.

Have you got good reviews for the album?
”I The King” got more than 250 international positive feedbacks from webzines, magazines and such. And it ranked #1st in Turkish Reverbnation metal charts and #180th in worldwide metal charts.

Are you preparing to release a new album soon?
We’re letting the pieces fall into place by themselves for this album. Writing and recording it organically when it happens where ever it happens.  We’re scheduled to release the LP “Fear the Light in my Hands” in the spring of 2016. But probably a single will be released in a few months or so.

In 2012 you have released an EP aswell, the debut release, ”Time of the Arallu”, tell me a few words about it also.
The “Time of the Arallu” EP was the reason that our fan base started to follow us in the first place. We were satisfied with the  songs, but not so much with the recording quality.
So we actually used those songs in the EP in the LP as well to show our fans how our sound improved over a year.

What are the influences of the band and on which lyrical themes are you focusing?
King Solomon, as you know, is kind of a unique character in history. He’s also largely mentioned in Qu’ran too. Everything about him sounds quite dark. The band choose to tell a post-biblical, fictional story about this king, losing faith in humanity and gathering an army of djinn to fight them.

What about shows, are there any confirmed?
Seal of Solomon was never meant to play in Turkey, so we never really persiude any domestic festivals or concerts. Since we dont work with any booking agencies or managers, its up to us to find festivals overseas and comminicate with them. AND we are lazy bums, so we stick to what we do best, write and record.

Do you have a message for the Seal of Solomon fans?
Onder Dulger: We know how many thousand free downloads the album has gotten, BUY THE ALBUM YOU POOR FUCKS!

Thank you for your answers and time, all the best!
