Hello Jorge, how are you?
Fine thanks, I’m enjoying a good winter day, with a hot coffee and good music.

When V.I.L was born?
V.I.L. was born in 2011, after our previous bands dissapear, we take our instruments and began to create the music that always we wanted create, influenced by what we heard from childhood and applying what they have learned in our previous projects.

Last year you debuted with ”Requiem For A Prayer” released via WormHoleDeath records, tell me about it.
”Requiem For a Prayer’’ is the expression of who we are. It’s the result of the hard work and we are very proud of it. In this part we expressed our feelings and emotions, through our worldview and for us is very important because it was our entry into the world of metal and thanks to Wormholedeath that we had the chance to distribute it worldwide.
It`s not easy to find a label that deals with the bands and we were lucky to meet them, which from the beginning, we were treated very well. They are a great team, several Spanish bands working with them and are equally satisfied as us.

Have you got good reviews for the album?
Yes, the album got good reviews from different music blogs, webs, and magazines around the world. We mix different styles without leaving a very personal line and this is liked by a lot of people.
They value the power and clarity of sound and good production, and in today’s world, it is very difficult todistinguish in the lot and variety of bands that exists.

Are you going to release a new album soon?
We are working on new stuff, we take our time, because we want to create a new good work, not composing it with hurry to release as soon as possible. We love music and we care of our compositions. We are playing some new songs on live shows, and they’re having good reception. That means that we are on the right side. Time to time, more brutality is comming.

Tell me about the band’s influences and also something about the lyrical themes.
We’re so influenced by the old metal school. We listened old scenes as the Bay Area’s Thrash Scene or the Old School of Death Metal since childhood, so since then we love this music and we want take part of that. Now, we take old school sounds and give them a modern sound, making V.I.L. an expression of our passion for metal. In the lyrical themes, we talk about human conducts that dislike us. The world is dehumanizing and humans make things than not are logical, and we talk about this: religions, modern slavery, destruction… yes, the human kind is a big source of “inspiration”.

What about concerts, are there any confirmed?
This year, we closed our tour, and we take a little breath to work on the new stuff, but we take part in several shows, with bands as Fleshdoll, Avulsed or Excrementory Grindfuckers and in August, we played in the X Leyendas del Rock Fest, sharing the stage with bands as Kataklysm and Fleshgod Apocalypse. Now we’ll close 2015 with a show in December and starts 2016 with other gig and we will break 2016 with our noise in all stages as will be possible!

What other plans V.I.L has?
We toured our country with our music from last two years and now we would like to tour our land and tour other countries too. And of course, create, create and create!

Do you have a message for the supporters?
Yes, live the music, support live shows and give music the place it deserves.
The scene, will live as we take care of that it lives, the bands, the supporters, the labels… We are all part of it for their care, independently of the side of the stage where we are.
Thanks for support V.I.L. , Thanks for support Metal, and thanks for make us wanting to go ahead!

Thank you for your time Jorge, cheers!
Thanks to you for yours too! See you!
