Band comes from San Francisco ( by the way, if you want to be still alive after meeting with city dweller then use never word “Frisco” when you’re talking about this city!!!). Especially inconvertible leader of THE ROAD VIKINGS Dan Bryant is very experienced vocalist. Only two names will say here everything: MEGADETH (not directly, but anyway) and HEXX. When he finally gone through his plan or even more dream to create own band and own music T.R.V. was born. After some time Dave Dab and Lisa Tonra joined him.
Band became real creature!
Guys call their music as Hard Rock or Bike Metal or in some other way which I can’t remember at the moment. Well, name doesn’t matter here. In my opinion it’s just a Hard Rock, but… Anyway, as I understood from quite twisted (what they describe it on their website, by the way) bio “Requiem of an Outlaw Biker” is their second release. NEVER MIND!!! The only thing which is important here is the fact that it’s as I said Hard Rock or maybe even Heavy Metal (as I noticed during all these years I listen to Metal border between especially these two genres is very fluid – you want example? There it is: ACCEPT) in highest quality. So it seems that not only Dan knows very well how it should “look like” and how to use instruments (Dany’s is specific one) to create music based in all canons of its genre. It’s just as it should be!!! Riffs are in its way aggressive, but also melodic. We have some guitar solos or, let’s call them, minisolos here, of course. But they’re absolutely not intrusive or pushy! Contrary – they’re just where they should be and make music complete. Vocal which presents Dany to us is also by all means lawful – clean, but a little hoarse way of singing. The same takes drums or bass. Of course not that they’re hoarse, but lawful and correct with all genres standards.
Well, I could write even more about this music, but better solution will be just to listen to it!!!
