It would seem that there aren’t many new things one could bring to the table of the metalcore genre these days. However, that doesn’t mean that said one couldn’t combine the best and ballsiest parts of multiple other music genres, such as, for example, alternative metal and even hip-hop, and create such an amazing mix of powerful, melodic, and catchy music, that genre categorisation would lose its significance to even the most elitist metal trolls. You will easily hear influences from such bands as Norma Jean and Killswitch Engage, as well as the idols of metalcore – Bring Me The Horizon. Don’t waste your time worrying about the mixing and mastering quality on their record either – severe cranial trauma and complete facemelting are absolutely unavoidable when recording and producing is done by none other than Boris Miroslav (Napoleon, Famous For Nothing).
