Combining a classic desert rock sound with alternative and post grunge influences, Witchrider wave their flag high. These guys are the future of the desert rock genre, ready to take the sound to the mainstream and preach the word to the masses.
This album is catchy as hell. Just hook after hook. Upon this writing, I am giving this album its second listen. Already the songs are familiar enough for me to bounce to the beats and sing along at points.
This is a good time album. Hands down. This thing was meant to move to, to sing along. Poppy hooks dance between stoned out grunge jams, just begging to be bobbed along with.
I wish I had more to say about this piece. It’s just something that needs to be taken in. It’s a collection of highs and lows that need to be ridden by each individual listener. My words will do this album no justice. Give it a listen, or rather five or six if we’re being honest. You won’t want to put it down. Keep an ear out for Witchrider to be doing some really fantastic stuff.
