The stalwarts welcomed two top-tier guitarists – Christopher Amott (ex-Arch Enemy) and Johan Reinholdz (Nonexist) – while writing a stunning cluster of songs that not only push Dark Tranquillity’s boundaries outward but also strongly typify the Swedes’ sonic fingerprint.
