Sick greetings
from Turkey to Antichrist Magazine! Thank you, I’m doing fine.. except the exhausting hot around -regarding both weather and politic atmosphere. Nowadays we are generally busy with promotion of Inhuman Depravity’s debut album and our daily works.

When did Inhuman Depravity was founded?
We came together with Yunus (vocals) and Taypan (ex-drums) in late 2013 and began the rehearsals. After some line up changes Eren (drums) and Kaan (bass) joined the band and we had our current line up.

This year you have released the debut album ”Nocturnal Carnage By The Unholy Desecrator”. Tell me about it.
We had gathered to release our own tracks from the very beginning and not so long after we began writing the tracks for our debut album. First we made a 3 track demo for promotional use and continued writing new tracks meanwhile. Composing of the tracks had ended about 1 year ago but due to common reasons -more or less every metal band faces in Turkey- we recorded the album within 8 months or so and released it from Russian brutal death metal label Coyote Records. I can say that in our debut we have 9 -out of control- tracks waiting to be released from chains by the listeners. Honestly, I didn’t recognize that this volume would be such a severe one when composing but the result is also surprising for us. I think our producer Unsal has also a big role in this violence act haha.

Did you get good reviews about the album?
Yes, reviews we got so far are pretty satisfactory. The thing we most care about is being unique somehow in what we do and we also got comments in that way, which was really motivating for us!

What are the band’s influences?
We are all influenced by pioneers of death metal genre such as Cannibal Corpse, Nile, Dying Fetus, Morbid Angel and so but personally my major source of influence is New York death metal legends Suffocation. Besides I do like some newer bands like Benighted, Insision, Prostitute Disfigurement etc. Yunus is more into old school death metal nowadays; Eren and Kaan have black metal background, which also make our influences richer. Eren blasts also for two black metal bands already.

Are you going to release new materials soon?
We keep the spirit coming and this means new material bursting out oftenly but I guess turning them to a new volume will take time.

Any shows confirmed for this year?
Our album is released at the beginning of summer and we can say these are the dead times for gigs except big festivals which generally don’t include newest bands so there is no shows confirmed so far. We are open to gig offers, especially in Europe. Hope this sentence wasn’t kind of an advertisement inside an interview haha.

A message for the fans?
We invite everyone who is interested in chaotic form of brutal death metal to have a listen to our debut album Nocturnal Carnage By The Unholy Desecrator. For the die hard fans of the genre our recommendation is stronger haha.. I think they won’t regret getting an Inhuman Depravity volume.

Thank you Murat, cheers!
