Hello I’m Juan Thedy, guitar player of Arkham, a band from El Bolsón-Argentina.
When your band was created?
Arkham was created in 2011with its current name.
What the style do you play?
We play something similar to melodic death metal.
How could you describe your music by several words?
We play what we want to play, without think in what other bands are doing. We want to express ourselves by our music.
What is the main theme of your lyrics?
We write about the human madness.
What would you like to achieve with the band activity?
I’d like to demonstrate that bands can have fun in their gigs and be ‘’professionals’’ at the same time. You don’t need to be a motherfucker arrogant to sound good, or make a great show
How many gigs you have played so far and maybe you visit another countries with concerts?
We’ve played a lot of times but all in our country, we’ve never played in another country.
Is there anything very important about your band what SHOULD know fans and labels?
No, we are just common people doing what they want; we only want to break heads with our music, nothing else.
What the formats you would like to see your releases, CD, Vinyl, Tape…? And how do you see future of physical releases?
We are auto producing our physical releases in Cd format.
When you will get label deal, would you like to help to the label with promotion from your side, or you want label do all without your help?
I believe that a label can’t do the entire job; bands need to promote ourselves if they want to be known, there isn’t another form in the underground world.
What’s your reaction towards negative opinions about your music?
The negative opinions makes me grow, we need negative opinions to know what are we doing wrong, to doing it better the next time.
And last question, how do you like our webzine, do you have some remarks towards its look or functionality?
I really like the webzine, it looks very professional and it’s very clear. I don’t have critics now.

Arkham is a melodic death metal band from the town of El Bolson (Rio Negro-Argentina) formed with the current name in 2011-2012 about.
In the beginning the name was Croaton, (2008) and was originally oriented towards melodic death metal band, maintained a continuity of a year and a half, and in that period made two presentations. After these presentations the band had been inactive until 2011-2012, when it came back as Arkham.
Now it stays active, playing with a stable formation and has a demo of 3 songs, recorded in a home by its members, and an EP of 5 songs recorded in Marfus Records studio.
Arkham has made grey number of presentations in the area (El Bolsón- Bariloche- Jacobacci-Villa La Angostura- Cipolletti) and has shared stage with bands like Serpentor, Eternal Grave, Mastifal, Lethal, Osamenta, Evisceration, Inflection, Sindrome, Induxión Mental, etc.
