So we have another band that plays Heavy Metal. Well, I always didn’t understand how band can be from two very different places in the same time. Just like that is with this one coz they’re coming from Sweden and Canada. I know that especially in today’s times that’s any problem from let’s say technical point of view. Guys send by e-mail what they created and then some of them “paste” it together. Well, never mind!!!

The most important is music here (as always)!!! And this is really good one. That’s nothing strange in that coz in ASSASSIN’S… play experienced musicians. Vocalist is even more then experienced… ahahhahahaha… So one Canadian (Jacques Bélanger – I think that I don’t have to say who is he) and three Swedish well known from bands like VOID MOON, TRAP and so on (Peter Svensson, David Stranderud and Marcus Rosenkvist) decided to create something together. This is as I said Heavy Metal and this is Heavy Metal from “upper shelf”, but there’s anything strange in that, of course! But at least in my opinion it’s not only Heavy Metal coz I can hear there quite strong elements of Thrash or Speed. Anyway, it doesn’t matter how we’ll call it. This is very good music with a lot of solos and other technical “fireworks (of course not too much and they serve to music, if you know what I mean) – maybe it’s not so easy to hear that if you don’t listen to it carefully enough. Drums also plays in various – even if there’s no some very big changes of tempo.

Jacque’s way of singing isn’t different then it was when he did it in legendary Canadian band – on albums such as “The Dark Command”, “Blood of Tyrants”, “New Testament”. But it’s richer and mature. In some parts it reminds me some very well-known Danish.

Anyway, cover-art reminds me also this genius Metal singer (at least some of his albums). Well, I could write much more, but… I think that it’ll be much better if you’ll just listen to it!!!
