Zurich has also long and interesting history. Besides it’s located in a very beauty landscape. So there’re for sure many tourist attractions. But you can be also sure that music scene in the biggest city of Switzerland is also strong and has many to offer. BLAKK OLD BLOOD is one of the youngest representatives of it – band exists since 2012. It’s created by four guys who hide away, what is quite typical for kind of music which they present, under stage pseudonyms: Korvus, Mentor, Goathammer and Deus Mortuus.
So everything’s clear! Band plays Black Metal! And this is this more raw, obscure and in some way primitive Black Metal. They don’t care about some technical displays, solos or something. Just goes forward with their music and do it in fast tempos. So it’s clear that songs are rather short and on the theme as I say. Vocalist screams as insane (what doesn’t mean that he do it in some monotonous way) all the time. The only exception to this rule is the last one entitled “Seed of greed” which can lead these mentally less-forgiving individuals to depression instead of neurosis.
So, if you want to take a risk of mental sickness (or if you’re already sick) – just get this four-song EP! From my experience I know that there’re many sick people around, so… But question is if you’re sick enough to listen to music of Swiss men?
