CENTINEX “Redeeming Filth”

Argh!!! Fuck my ears!!! The legend is BACK!!! And FULL of power!!! Centinex, I had the big hope about their return into the scene, and now I’m able to listen to their NEW bloody and deadly effort!!! What you have said? Too many exclamation marks? Hehe, I think it’s too little as for this GREAT return. Well, let’s leave this sentimentalism to others, ‘coz we here to write review:). So, first of all – line-up changes – two new players – Sverker Widgren (Demonical, Diabolical) on guitars and Alexander Högbom (October Tide, Spasmodic) on vocals. As for me – this replacement was not like bad side of Centinex, because these two guys are pretty skilled as well, and they KNOW how to play DEATH METAL, and they DID it correct. All in all here are 10 tracks of PURE DEATH METAL, old-school, skull-crushing and pressing. Each song sounds like merciless hellish chainsaw, which cutting your ears first, and then your fucking old-school head, filled with death metal records of old days. Anything noteworthy with this record? Hm, how to say – anything, hehe, just pure death metal; and all is typical and played thousands of times previously – but still crushing and main thing – INTERESTING listen to! Nobody will say this is just next death metal album which worth just for one time listening, because from my personal point of view, “Redeeming Filth” became another memorable death metal album after Bloodbath’s “Grand Morbid Funeral”, which was released couple days earlier:). I’m sorry, but I won’t write too many about this album, I’ll just finish this review with the next statement – “Redeeming Filth” is an old-school fucking death metal, with fast and deeply pressing, catching and crushing rhythm-section and deep killer growls! Unambiguously one of the best death metal albums of 2014! With NO atmospheres and technical skills, just a fucking mincing machine!!!!!! And last note for young metalheads – if you want to know what is PURE DEATH METAL is all about – you MUST listen to “Redeeming Filth”!
