In the first interview I had with Råbjørn, the one-member and founder of Coldbound, who told the history of Coldbound and the albums that were released for Skullbanger Media, I interviewed him second time where spoke about the upcoming Coldbound album and other plans. To remind, Coldbound is a one member Black Metal band from Finland.
Hello Råbjørn, nice talking to you again, how things are going?
Hello Carla and thanks for reaching me again. All is going fine and preparing myself for my first show with Arvas that is going to happen next month.
In the first interview we talked about Coldbound and the albums you have released, now let’s talk about the upcoming album, when it will be released?
The Rites Under Moonlight is honestly gonna take some more time till the (glorious) day of its release. Many obstacles are in between. This time I try to make things more professional than ever. For this reason I am struggling and working hard in order to produce my own copies through my own label that I am building up right now. Already have been in contacts with some printing plants in Sweden and the offers I received did satisfied me a lot. So I think that soon I am going to focus more on layout , booklet and rest of visual arts that are going to dress the whole concept . There are some mixing parts and vocal parts left undone but in no time after this month I will focus more on them.
The main plan is to release the album until the end of the year but still nothing can be said yet.
It takes much more time to manufacture and mix it rather than the recording hehe.
It will be a full-lenght or an EP?
It’s gonna be a full length with 8 songs and 1 intro/1 outro tracks. For first time is going to be a concept album.
The new album will be different than the others?
Oh yes without any doubt is going to be the best produced Coldbound theme up to date. I finally tried to create my own sound and I am sure its going to satisfy the listeners.
Any lyrical themes?
As I mentioned is going to be a concept album so the main concept is fullmoon,winter or nature in general and some inner demons.
About you, as Coldbound, soon you will be on stage with the Black metal band Arvas, right?
Yes, the show is going to be held in Bergen’s Inside Rock Cafe on 15th of August. We are going to headline this show . Apart from us , Istårn,Natas and Among Gods will warm up the scene for us . Is going to be a night to remember for sure and one of the last shows of Arvas in Bergen, perhaps the last show in Bergen according our guitarist V-Rex. So you should better dont miss it if you hang around there that time.

Much more to come , release, merchandise , video clip , etc. Coldbound was never set in hibernation..everything is working under the surface and will explode as a volcano.
