Cradle Of Filth have checked in with the following update on the recordings for their new album:
“Cradle Of Filth bassist Daniel Firth has now finished adding his shuddering touch to the new album, spoken about in hushed, careful whispers as Hammer Of The Witches.
Daniel has been thoroughly immersed in Grindstone Studios in deepest, darkest Suffolk for the last week with producer/slavedriver Scott Atkins, peddling his unwholesome wares on tracks such as “Misericord”, “Deflowering The Maidenhead, Displeasuring The Goddess”, “The Vampyre At My Side” and “Enshrined In Crematoria”, to shame but a few.
The album itself is really beginning to flesh out its dusky skeleton, with general surgical mishap/singer Dani Filth and keyboardist/female vocalist Lindsay Schoolcraft next up to the hotplate beginning Monday.
The Cradle opus nocturne is scheduled for worldwide release on June 26th via Nuclear Blast records and promises to be a phantasmagorical slay-ride of maleficent proportions. Or so the Pope said in his latest address.
Oh, and one one last thing… please slither back tomorrow, gathered coven, for the announcement of yet another Cradle Summer festival, this time one outside of Europe. For much like a murder identity parade, it’s a real killer line-up!”
