Hi. My name is Alex. I play drums in a band called Gatling.
When your band was created?
THE DAY I WAS BORN. BECAUSE I WAS BORN TO PLAY MUSIC.
What the style do you play?
Progressive blackened deathly clown thrash with post-hard-pirate-viking-core influences, and a slight twinge of indie folk oi pop kazoo klezmer thrown in for good measure.
How could you describe your music by several words?
With my voice, or in text.
What is the main theme of your lyrics?
We have two: pizza and elephants. Oh, and how inflation affects the price of aerobic equipment.
What would you like to achieve with the band activity?
I’d like to lose my virginity. The band will probably help with that.
How many gigs you have played so far and maybe you visit another countries with concerts?
We have played… maybe 50? And we’d love to travel to other countries and perform, but no one cares enough about our progressive blackened deathly clown thrash to come see us HERE, let alone another country.
Is there anything very important about your band what SHOULD know fans and labels?
We all have egregious amounts of back hair and have been known to shave it on stage.
What the formats you would like to see your releases, CD, Vinyl, Tape…? And how do you see future of physical releases?
I’d like to see all of our releases pressed on floppy disk, and vinyls made out of wax.
When you will get label deal, would you like to help to the label with promotion from your side, or you want label do all without your help?
We’ll help promote all of our releases by streaking nude through the streets with the download link scrawled on our bare chests.
What’s your reaction towards negative opinions about your music?
When I read a bad review I cry for about an hour, then eat a bucket of ice cream.
And last question, how do you like our webzine, do you have some remarks towards its look or functionality?
It’s ABSOLUTEly amazing.
