Please introduce yourself.
I am Iter Pactum, one-man Black Metal from Norway.
When your band was created?
The band was created in february 2014 as a side project, but after a short while i took it on as my main band and have since focused soley on this.
What the style do you play?
I would say i play Black Metal, and thats it. But some may consider it more atmospheric, others more raw…
How could you describe your music by several words?
True music for true hearts. This is pure Norwegian Black Metal.
What is the main theme of your lyrics?
Nature, nationalism, anti-religion and philosophy.
What would you like to achieve with the band activity?
My only goals are for my music to be heard.
How many gigs you have played so far and maybe you visit another countries with concerts?
I have not preformed live yet, but hopefully in the future i will get live members togheter.
Is there anything very important about your band what SHOULD know fans and labels?
I would like to make it very clear for both fans and especially labels, that i will never change my music to fit a specific audience.
What the formats you would like to see your releases, CD, Vinyl, Tape…? And how do you see future of physical releases?
The big goal is of course to release on Vinyl, but in the meantime (as it is very expensive) i release CD’s and Tapes.
When you will get label deal, would you like to help to the label with promotion from your side, or you want label do all without your help?
Of course its my job as much as the label to promote my music, and since i am doing it now, i see no reason to stop simply because i get signed.
What’s your reaction towards negative opinions about your music?
I think negative opinions towards my music is great. If you create black metal that everyone likes, you are most certainly not doing it right!
Its not for everyone, and thus not everyone should like it. If a lot of people hate it, this is just a sign that the music is good.
And last question, how do you like our webzine, do you have some remarks towards its look or functionality?
I think its great there are so many people promoting the (somewhat) underground, and to me the looks does not matter much.
Thank you for your time.
Hails from the Norwegian mountains!
