In an unprecedented event in extreme metal Canadian powerhouse, KATAKLYSM, will release 10 music videos over the next 10 days leading up to the release of their new album, “Of Ghosts And Gods”.
Today, the band has released a video clip for the track “Breaching The Asylum”
Mastermind Maurizio states:
“ ’Breaching The Asylum’ is a video depicting the different religions, cults and ideology that control most of our society. The song questions the need for humanity to belong to something greater then the physics of the universe and the dangers of its fanatics to silence free will.”
Guitarist/producer J- F Dagenais (MALEVOLENT CREATION, MISERY INDEX) tracked drums, guitars and bass for “Of Ghosts And Gods”, while vocals were recorded by producer Mark Lewis (WHITE CHAPEL, DEVILDRIVER, CANNIBAL CORPSE). The entire process was mixed and mastered in the UK by legendary producer Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, TESTAMENT, EXODUS, AMON AMARTH). The artwork from KATAKLYSM’s explosive new album was created by up-and-coming dark and macabre artist, Surtsey (www.facebook.com/ocvltadesigns).
“Of Ghosts And Gods”, KATAKLYSM’s twelfth studio album, will be released on July 31st (worldwide) via Nuclear Blast Records.
