Masterstroke “Broken”

I have never heard about this band before, in spite they have 4 full-length albums so far!!! Plus there are 4 demo records, all in all – pretty hard working guys. So what the music they playing? They call it Heavy Metal, but to be correct – there is a mix of Power metal with Modern Metal, i.e. rhythmical structure remind me such popular bands like Trivium or Bullet for My Valentine (maybe there are more could be in this list, but, I’m sorry, I’m not into such music), but music not so hard, and typical Finnish melodism makes Masterstroke similar to Stratovarius. Two types vocals, clear (clean and beautiful one) and another one – hoarse roar here and there. Sounds pretty cool: harder and not so sweet like typical Power Metal, but also do not boring like Modern Metal. Something like happy medium!!! Recommended to the fans of Finnish melodic metal school – recommended for listening!!!
