Renowned Danish composer and classically trained multi-instrumentalist, MYRKUR, has been nominated for two GAFFA Awards for Solo Artist of the Year & Best Hard Rock Album (Mareridt)! Additionally, MYRKUR will embark on her headlining Folkesange tour next week starting on January 19 at Eurosonic in Netherlands. The tour consists of six total dates throughout the UK, Scandinavia and the Netherlands spanning January and February. MYRKUR will perform traditional Nordic folk songs and acoustic renditions of compositions off M and Mareridt.

Immediately following the Folkesange tour, MYRKUR returns to North America for the annual Decibel Magazine Tour featuring Enslaved, Wolves in the Throne Room and Khemmis. Additional 2018 tour dates include an April tour with Epica, a brief Russian tour in May and various festival appearances such as Download Madrid and Roskilde Festival.

MYRKUR’s highly acclaimed Mareridt album has received high end of the year praise charting on notable album of the year lists including Metal Hammer (#2), Decibel Magazine (#16), The Independent (#8), MXDWN (#1), Rough Trade and Revolver Magazine among others.
