Hippies, Sadhus, and Ganja Smoking Psychonauts in 1972 Kathmandu!
Nepal Death’s groovy new anthem is here!
Swedish musical hippie collective Nepal Death releases “Freak Street Blues.” This psych rock track features Ebbot Lundberg from The Soundtrack of Our Lives on backup vocals. Given that Ebbot rarely collaborates these days, his involvement in this track is truly special and adds a unique touch.
Additionally, legendary guitar manufacturer Danelectro recently highlighted the use of their Vintage White 12-string electric guitar in this song, underscoring the distinct and timeless sound that defines “Freak Street Blues.”
FREAK HIPPIE GANJA NOSTALGIA!
“Freak Street Blues” captures the nostalgic essence of Kathmandu’s historic hippie marijuana haven Freak Street, offering a danceable groove with rich melodies and evocative lyrics that celebrate a vibrant past.
This track also features contributions from talented artists like Pontus Torstensson (Exorcist GBG), Lisa Isaksson (Me and My Kites), Becher Clausen (Papir), and Milton Andersen.
