Markus “Makka” Freiwald – played drums in German thrashers Despair. After he left, Freiwald joined Flaming Anger. He is also known as drummer in Voodoocult. Markus Freiwald played percussion as a session musician on the Moonspell album “Irreligious”. He is also featured on the 1996 album “Triarchy Of The Lost Lovers” by Rotting Christ. Markus Freiwald was live drummer for Rumble Militia in 1992, Lacuna Coil’s 1998 European tour, and Kreator’s 1999 Endorama tour. In December 2010 Markus Freiwald joined Sodom, following the departure of Konrad “Bobby” Schottkowski.
