Fvneral Fvkk “The Lecherous Liturgies”
Solitude Productions

I like the concept of what Fvneral Fvkk are all about. And their views are very much like those of my own.

I think that churches can be very beautiful buildings, but I hate what they stand for. The music of Germany’s Fvneral Fvkk is all about the beauty of a Cathedral, and the lyrics basically say that God is a foul pervert and that the clergy are debauched… that last bit is definitely an understatement.

Their brand of Epic Doom sounds stunning. It glides effortless, very slowly, very calming. But once you remove the top layer, the lyrics provide a hard hitting stance about all that is wrong with those that use the name of God for their own vile devices, as well as the odd spot of necrophilia. And with song titles such as Erection In The House Of God and Fvkking At Fvnerals I’m sure you get what they’re all about.

I know this has been released as a 2 track 7” single. My version has 3 tracks, the last, presumably, being a bonus track for the digital release.

It’s a great introduction to the band, and I look forward to more tales of filth from them in the future.
