Swiss indie alternative rock artist Lynn Marring returns with her latest single and official music video, My Witchcraft. Inspired by iconic acts such as Muse, Royal Blood, and PJ Harvey, Marring crafts a dystopian rock universe, exploring contrasts between darkness and light in both sound and subject matter.
Following her debut EP in 2017, she has developed a more mature and dynamic sound, fearlessly blending pop sensibilities with raw, heavy intensity. My Witchcraft serves as a preview of her upcoming 5-track EP, Symbiotic Chaos, set for release on November 13, 2025.

“My Witchcraft is about the fine line lying in between fantasies and reality, suggesting that a fantasy could save us from a form of sordid reality. In the imaginary of “My Witchcraft”, there goes a story on using magical powers to access an impossible love, using the image of love potions in fairy tales. A catchy rock song for hopeless and hopeful romantics: you will hate to love it.” – says Lynn
Lynn Maring begins to play guitar at 7 years old and starts her own band at only 12 after hearing the band Muse for the very first time. Born in Geneva, Switzerland, she was then working as a CD retailer when she has founded her first bands Disagony in 2009 and The Chikitas in 2011. Following moderate success with albums “Venom Dish” and “Distoris Clitortion” she has played a few hundreds of concerts in Europe and some in the USA, where she would record the album “Wrong Motel” in Arizona back in 2015. Following these rich experiments in bands, she then started her own solo project and released her debut solo EP in 2017.
Then she enjoyed a break from studio and live performances to study music in Lausanne, Switzerland for five years to satisfy her curiosity and get some inspiration as well as deepening her knowledge.
Following that, she got back to performing and recorded demos by herself to finally compose her second solo release “Symbiotic Chaos”, named after her inspiration towards a dystopian universe.
Recording the EP in Kitchen Studio in Geneva, she played all instruments except for the drums on two singles, hiring her friend and drummer Killian Sylvestre for the job.
To match her more distinct universe, she put some meaning into the projects’ name and changed her artist’s name to Lynn Marring in 2025.
