Please introduce yourself.

We are Nemesis, an all-female melodic metal band from Serbia in Southern Europe. In the last two years we have promoting our original songs in our homeland and our region.

When your band was created?

Our band was created in 2013, but we have not started playing our original songs until 2016.

What genre do you play?

We play melodic death metal that is mostly influenced by Arch Enemy.

How could you describe your music in several words?

Our music is loud, energetic and easy to remember.

What is the main theme of your lyrics?

Our main themes are philosophy, capitalism and rebellion. Mostly the problems of 21st Century.

What would you like to achieve with the band activity?

We would love to play as many concerts as possible and wherever possible. We enjoy live performances and we want to share the energy with our audience.

How many gigs you have played so far and maybe you visit other countries with concerts?

We have played exactly 41 gigs since 22nd October 2016, until now. We have played in Serbia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Romania, Bosna and Hercegovina.

Is there anything very important about your band that fans and labels must know?

We had the chance to play as support band for Bullet For My Valentine, Thy Art Is Murder and Nervosa.

What the formats you would like to see your releases, CD, Vinyl, Tape…? And how do you see the future of physical releases?

We are planning to release our upcoming album on CD, yet we are fully aware that digital platforms and streaming services are taking over. We believe that CDs, Vinyls and Tapes are to remaing popular only among people that like to have music in physical form and that are making own collection.

When you will get label deal, would you like to help to the label with promotion from your side, or you want label do all without your help?

It would be great having a label with good promotional infrastructure, but we are always willing to work hard and to help spread the news as far as possible.

What’s your reaction towards negative opinions about your music?

We do not get negative reactions as often, but when we do we mostly ignore it, or discuss it among ourselves if it is constructive towards our music.

And the last question, how do you like our webzine, do you have some remarks towards its look or functionality?

We love your webzine! It is really easy to navigate through, and everything seems to be in the right place for readers. Also, we are grateful for very clear instructions for unsigned bands.
