ARCHGOAT “The Apocalyptic Triumphator”

Here we go! Archgoat’s third full lp installment, “The Apocalyptic Triumphator”, is a must adequate title for an entity that has been on a crusade to paying homage to the goat since 1989. They now offer their fans (lets call each other minions) that as always will not let us down. Strangely enough, there subtle changes in how their unholy prayers are delivered this time: production values are a little tad cleaner. Performances by Lord Angelslayer, Ritual Butherer and Sinisterror look a bit more controlled in the manner of the new tracks’ delivery. The only strange thing is that Ritual Butcherer performs a guitar solo(!!) during the track “Sado-Magical Portal”. ; while listening to this track, that was the last thing I expected to hear since they have never resorted. Other than that, this is a cool lp but again, an unexpected feeling for the reasons stated above.
