Furthermore, AUTUMNBLAZE confirm their participation in the renowned Prophecy Fest, taking place in the unique setting of the Balve Caves, Germany, from September 11 to 13, 2025. Known for its unparalleled atmosphere and a lineup that celebrates the dark, avant-garde, and emotional facets of music, the festival serves as the perfect setting for the band to bring their powerful and thought-provoking work to the stage.
The band explains: “Returning to the stage never was the plan as we felt comfortable as a studio project, but when our old label Prophecy Productions asked us to play live on their masterful Prophecy Fest 2025 in the unique Balve Caves, we catched fire again. So we hope to meet many great people there and a lot of our long-term fans. The release of our latest album Auf Zerfetzten Schwingen on vinyl is another perfect news. We still love this album as it’s different on many levels. The world is still struggling to find a healthy balance again. Last but not least Transilvanian Hunger. The essence of pure black metal to us. We didn’t want to make a simple cover version, but tried to translate it into our own sound universe, without losing the original vibe.”

The record emerged as a response to the global turmoil of recent years, capturing raw emotions and deep introspection. The album was recorded and produced by AUTUMNBLAZE between May and November 2022, with the final mix and mastering entrusted to the legendary Markus Stock (Empyrium, The Vision Bleak) at Klangschmiede Studio E in March 2023. The evocative album artwork, crafted by the talented Friederieke Myschik, visually embodies the album’s themes of despair, resistance, and passion.
