Please introduce yourself.
We are Immane from Lübeck, Germany: Christbasher (Guitar), Myrk (Drums), Devastating Omega (Bass) and Pestier (Guitar/Vocals).
When your band was created?
Originally the band started in the second half of 2010, but the actual lineup exists since 2013.
What the style do you play?
Our style is a mixture of Black- and Death-Metal.
How could you describe your music by several words?
Our ambition is to combine the epics and rhythmics of both mentioned styles.
What is the main theme of your lyrics?
The lyrical content is based on individualism, self-determination and the awareness for the own mortality.
What would you like to achieve with the band activity?
We would like to play live as often as possible and get recognised in the scene, cross-border.
How many gigs you have played so far and maybe you visit another countries with concerts?
We played four shows so far, all in the region of Northern Germany.
Is there anything very important about your band what SHOULD know fans and labels?

What the formats you would like to see your releases, CD, Vinyl, Tape…? And how do you see future of physical releases?
We prefer the CD as primary solution, although its importance has constantly decreased throughout the last years. But we think that especially metal fans are still interested in having a physical copy of a record with artwork, booklet etc.
But that doesn´t mean we are against additional digital releases, which obviously play a bigger role these days.
When you will get label deal, would you like to help to the label with promotion from your side, or you want label do all without your help?
It never hurts to promote the band in every possible way, not only relying on the labels work. So we would give some support.
What’s your reaction towards negative opinions about your music?
We respect every negative opinion as long as it is not just trolling or undifferentiated in any form. In the end, everything should be a matter of taste. Simple as that.
And last question, how do you like our webzine, do you have some remarks towards its look or functionality?
To be honest, we haven´t recognised the webzine since now. But from what we´ve seen so far we like it content-wise because there seems to be a good balance between more and less popular bands.
One negative aspect are the ads because they make the page appear unnecessarily “cheap”.

Originally founded at the end of 2010 and after experiencing several lineup changes, Immane previously still known by the name Interitus has evolved into its present form. Currently the band consists of guitarist and foundation member Christbasher, vocalist and second guitarist Pestier, drummer Myrk and Devastating Omega on bass guitar. Our musical ambition is characterised by the idea to unify the epics of black metal with the rhythmics of death metal. The lyrical content is based on individualistic thoughts and the awareness for the own mortality. The self stands for itself. The self focusses on the inside. The self is only defeated by its own decay.
