Hi Stein, how are you?
Hi Carla, I’m fine, a lot of exciting stuff are going on.

Tell me when Dienamic was founded.
Dienamic saw the light of the day in 2010 in Tromsø-Norway.

The band’s first release was in 2010, the EP entitled as the band name. How the recordings were going then?
The EP was just a hand to hand promo, the recording were done by us.

What can you tell me about the 2012 album ”Surfing The Apocalypse”?
The album is produced by Yngvar Mehus and the Dienamic. Was recorded at Lydproduksjon in Tromsø.  It has a couple of songs from the 2010 EP on it. It got great reviews and took us to Japan in 2013 for our first tour abroad. Actually, our first tour ever.

This year you have released a new album entitled ”Afterlife”. Tell me about it.
Our second full lenght album and our third release. It’s a faster album with a better or maybe I should say, sharper production. A bit easier arrangements as well but more focus on individual performance. It was never our goal to make something new or revolutionary if I can use that word, but present the material we have the best way possible.
11174910_918728111510668_5351289118588991527_nWho mainly wrote the lyrics?
Lyrics are written by me and Gustav (vocals). Until this day we have worked together with the lyric ideas we had.
Back in 2013 you had a tour in Japan supporting Nightrage. How was it?
The 2013 Japan tour was a dream come through for us and we had a awesome time over there. Love the culture and people. The tour arrangement was good and we went back home with a big smile and a lot of inspiration. The bands were really cool and we all came along great. Venues was packed and the audience kicked maximum ass.

Are there any shows confirmed for this year?
Yes. We are going back to Japan September 3rd. Four dates, Sendai, Nagoya and two show in Tokyo. We are working on a Scandinavian tour in November /December that will take us through Norway, Sweden and Danmark.

What are the band’s influences?
It’s a hard question, 80s thrash metal, / 90s grove metal, Death metal some Hard Core and pure Rock & Roll. The music just takes us to differet places as we write, so maby we one day have to adjust our lable a bit, i dont know.  We all have our different ways of interpret music. But it is the guitar and rhythm based music, fast and heavy grove with some chaos involved that make us snap.

Do you have a message for the fans?
Yes I have some words, I would like to share, for better or wors, he he. We know that without the fans, all musicians and bands have no purpose on the live stage. We are, and will always be a touring band, and we belive in what we are doing more than anything else. We have dedicated our lifes to this band and we hope that our music and our will to succeed and to inspire people out there to support us and
join us for the awesome ride that lays ahead. Our dream is to be able to make the weel spin with the help from the people out there, we can only get so far by our self. We love all the hard work we’re putting into our band and will continue to the day we die. Or totally broke, living in tents and dumpster dive for our survial.  But first we are relocating to Sweden and Gothenburg in November 2015.  To end my little speach that I have going on here I will welcome everybody into our littel family.

Thank you Stein, all the best!
Thank you and all the best to you too!
