We’re black/death metal band based in Wroclaw, Poland.
When your band was created?
In September 2012.
What the style do you play?
Black metal with death metal influences.
How could you describe your music by several words?
Going beyond traditional black metal, with elements of progression exchangeable with aggressive riffs.
What is the main theme of your lyrics?
In our music we describe the feeble human mind and it’s tendencies to be enslaved by religion and its own imaginary fears.
What would you like to achieve with the band activity?
For us it’s great fun. We’re playing gigs around Poland. I think next step is to record LP and play few gigs in Germany, France, Austria or Czech.
How many gigs you have played so far and maybe you visit another countries with concerts?
We played only in Poland and it’s about 20 gigs right now.
Is there anything very important about your band what SHOULD know fans and labels?
Labels? I suppose that they should now that we seriously take care about music quality. Every member of this band playing for a long time and for us it’s very important to polish our music.
For funs: we like to drink with people on our gigs. Especially good beer and cherry vodka. We “endorse” Soplica. 😉
What the formats you would like to see your releases, CD, Vinyl, Tape…? And how do you see future of physical releases?
CD, USB pendrives, Tape. We’re open for options. We’re sure that physical is most important. We like to listen music from streaming websites, because this is simple and fast, but all of us has own physical release of every CD of DHG. (new release is ordered!)
When you will get label deal, would you like to help to the label with promotion from your side, or you want label do all without your help?
We could help. Also this is topic to discuss. Difficult to write anything without details.
What’s your reaction towards negative opinions about your music?
We like to read negative opinions, because many people could observe bad things that we could not see.
And last question, how do you like our webzine, do you have some remarks towards its look or functionality?
I read few of reviews and it looks nice. There are personal opinion of production, history of band, overall description about composition and also you mentioned for who it’d be good to listen. About looks – it’s quite bright, not usual for metal zines. They’re mostly dark and difficult to read. One thing that’s not good to me is centered text of reviews. I’d rather read justified.
