The intertwining worlds of Hard Rock/Metal and beer have a longstanding connection, with iconic brews like Iron Maiden’s Trooper, Megadeth’s Tornado IPA, Pearl Jam’s Black Widow, and Foo Fighters’ Foo Town IPA gracing the scene. Virginia’s hard rock sensation, Never Elected, continues this rich tradition by collaborating with Adroit Theory Brewing Company to introduce an electrifying new IPA, named Turbulent. The launch aligns with the pre-release activities of their eponymous album through Sliptrick Records, set to rock the world on Dec 10.
Established in 2008, Adroit Theory Brewing Company has been a stalwart supporter of Virginia’s Hard Rock and Metal scene for the past 15 years, making their partnership with Never Elected a perfect match.
About the beer, Adroit Theory declares,
“TURBULENT DIPA – This double IPA literally rocks! This collaboration with local VA hard rock band “Never Elected”. The delicious nectar with all the hallmarks you’re familiar with from an Adroit Theory DIPA. Creamy mouthfeel, minimal bitterness and aggressive dry hopping. This IPA is characterized by a relatively complex hop profile, blending citrus forward aromatics and tasting notes with an underlying mix of pine and floral notes. I bet when you crack open this can you’ll hear steady heavy guitar riffs, a grooving bass riff, some punchy drums and killer vocals! Cheers!”
Sujit Kumar, the vocalist of Never Elected, expresses his excitement, stating,
“We are extremely thrilled about this collaboration. I can’t wait to see people sipping on this beer and singing along with our music at our shows.”
