Formed in September of 2014, Palinopsia is a Vermont based blackened doom project consisting of 4 members. Sonically, Palinopsia strives to thin the lines between sub-genres in extreme music, blending the likes of black metal, doom, stoner, and hardcore in a way that is both visceral and organic. Thematically, Palinopsia’s lyrics aim to blur elements of waking life, dreams, and memory, creating a narrative rife with personal history and metaphor. Murmurs From the Well Nothing More is their first release.
