I have to start this review off right. I must confess that I am a huge fan of Swedish style Death Metal. It’s hard for me to review this because I am biased to enjoy it as soon as I hear the kick drums, guitar tones and style of playing of these riffs. But I am going to keep this honest.

I like it, I do and it does not disappoint me. But are there other bands who I should just listen to because they have of course done it first and better? No, because the scene must live. Being a musician I also know fully the difficulties of creating something rarely heard. I am so glad to know these bands are still coming and coming. Such a small country compared to one like The USA where I reside but such a pool of talent they have. Monster riffs of pure Old School DM all over this album. Abscession have done a great job here. Being that I of course know all of The band Entrails Albums frontwards and back I have to point out the obvious comparisons on a lot of guitar rhythms. Again I have no complaints but if you are looking for something new and different then keep looking. Will I listen to this again? Absolutely I will because it is a Solid release and recommended for anyone who worships Swedish DM.
