This international act with members of Revel In Flesh, Wombbath, Gorefest, Hail Of Bullets and more knows the right formula for good and hard-hitting death metal. There is no unnecessary messing around.

The way they combine monster blast beats, some of them have a duration of nearly 3 minutes at top speed, with groovy mid-tempo parts, is creating very fresh and apocalyptic songs. The whole record channels a huge amount of aggression just as you would expect from a great death metal record.

The cover of Darkthrone‘s “Transylvanian Hunger” fits perfectly in the tracklist. The fact that they tune up the brutality of the song gives it deadly and atmospheric vibe while keeping the base of the original.

I totally enjoyed listening to this record. Although I have to say that the predecessor “Serpent’s Curse” was more impactful on the first impression. Nevertheless “Into The Red” is a great timeless death metal record that is fun even after frequent listening.
