Motörhead “Under Cöver”
WEA

Under Cöver is collection 11 of Motörhead covers: Breaking the Law (Judas Priest), God Save the Queen (Sex Pistols), Heroes (David Bowie), Starstruck (Rainbow) , Cat Scratch Fever (Ted Nugent),  Jumpin Jack Flash (The Rolling Stones), Sympathy for the Devil (The Rolling Stones), Hellraiser (Ozzy Osbourne), Rockaway Beach (The Ramones), Shoot Em Down (Twisted Sister) and Whiplash (Metallica).

All songs are previously released in different periods of Motörhead brilliant discography. All but one: Heroes. Motörhead recorded David Bowie cover during the Bad Magic sessions in 2015. This is one of the last songs Motörhead ever recorded.

Cover songs were always popular, but rare bands made successful covers. Motörhead is one of those. Lemmy, Mikkey and Phil did it with passion. They did it to honor their heroes and they did it well.

The excitement of holding this magnificent collection in my hands flaunted that moment I realized Lemmy is not with us anymore.

Personal favorites: Startruck feat. Biff Byford, Rockaway Beach and Whiplash. I will dare to write, Whiplash sounds better than original.
