We’re RIFLE, plain and simple. A pure Speed Metal-Rock N Roll Warmachine from Sweden
When your band was created?
Formed in 2011, but not until 2013 the band was fully lined-up, when Henry, drummer of IXXI joined.
What the style do you play?
We play fast, thrashy and relentless Rock’n’roll, in the veins of Motörhead, Venom, but with a hint of early Iron Maiden and Chuck Berry
How could you describe your music by several words?
Fast, loud and dirty rock n roll, for better description, read previous awnser
What is the main theme of your lyrics?
There is a lot of gore, horror and occult themes in our songs, but we also have songs about corruption and psychic problems.
What would you like to achieve with the band activity?
To be able to record a couple of records, travel the world, play our music to new fans, and to share a couple of beers with them after the show.
How many gigs you have played so far and maybe you visit another countries with concerts?
We’ve done 10 gigs in Sweden, and we’re playing a festival called Death Kills on the 27th of feb alongside bands like Protector, Obscyria, Paganizer, Nominon and Nattas.
It would be great to play in another country thou!
Is there anything very important about your band what SHOULD know fans and labels?
That we are 100% true in what we do, and that we have no interest in selling out.
What the formats you would like to see your releases, CD, Vinyl, Tape…? And how do you see future of physical releases?
We already have a self-released EP called “It’s a Curse”, but it would be great to release a full length album on all 3 formats.
When you will get label deal, would you like to help to the label with promotion from your side, or you want label do all without your help?
We definitely want to help the record label. I mean, who else but us in the band knows best in what we would like to achieve with Rifle?
What’s your reaction towards negative opinions about your music?
We actually don’t give a fuck: We love to play rock’n’roll, and if someone has a problem with that, well then they can go and fuck themselves.
