SAINT VITUS have announced that vocalist Scott Reagers will be joining them on their 2015 summer dates in Europe.
The band comments:
“We will play a special set for the fans; one comprised mostly of Reagers’ pre and post era as SAINT VITUS’ singer. We hope that the Vitus family, fans and friends, are eager to revisit the Reagers sound for this brief tour and we especially thank you for your continued support!”
Scott Reagers is one of the founding members of SAINT VITUS and was already on vocal duties in the preceding band TYRANT. He sang on the eponymous album debut ‘Saint Vitus’ (1984) before leaving the band in 1986. Reagers returned in 1994 and recorded classic album ‘Die Healing’ (1995) with the doom legends before leaving again in 1996.
SAINT VITUS have already been confirmed for the prestigious Hellfest Open Air in Clisson, France on the 21st of June and more dates will be announced in due time for this summer.
Last year, SAINT VITUS had to announce that their frontman Scott “Wino” Weinrich was deported to the US by the local authorities after being detained by Norwegian police and immigrations officers for possession of illegal substances on last November 9th.
