Northern Ireland’s doom/death deviants The Crawling are looking forward to joining a stellar line-up at Metal Days in Slovenia later this month, writes Paul Castles.
Northern Ireland is currently standing shoulder to shoulder with emerging metal talent and The Crawling are foremost among their ranks.
Last year the trio performed with distinction at Bloodstock and Inferno and their stunning debut album Anatomy Of Loss has now helped them to secure a their third major European festival in less than a year.
The Crawling singer and guitarist Andy Clarke, said:
“We are beyond excited about playing Metal Days! We have played a few large festivals so far, and it is just the most enjoyable experience a band can get.
“To travel even further afield and do it again is fantastic. Slovenia is a magnificent country, and the setting for the festival is just serene – I can’t wait to look out from the stage across the beautiful scenery; not to mention we get to share the stage with Venom Inc and Batushka!”
The Crawling play the Boško Bursač Stage (16:15) on Monday 24 July.
