NO BROS “Ready For The Action”

Fucking yeah! When did you listen to the same album for 5 days, day by day, day by day, again and again? Long time ago? But I have got such experience last time once started to listen to this promo-pack, which contains re-issue of No Bros’ album “Ready For The Action”, originally recorded and released back in 1982. Needless to say I’m sick fan of all the Metal albums which were forged back in ‘80s, so I do care deeply about each stuff marked ‘80’s, and pretty RARE I get some “shit”… No Bros was formed back in far 1974 (but had the title Target – 1974-1979), they have not so many albums, but mostly singles, compilations and etc… Sadly I have never heard about them, so I was a bit shocked when I listened to them for the first time, and now my near weeks will be completely dedicated to the No Bros’ discography and history! Okay, I think you’ll be not surprised by their music, I mean the style, yeah, this is typical heavy metal, with a huge hard rock influences. The album sounds pretty reach, both for ideas and melodies… Rhythmical structure is the same typical – there are all possible slow – fast and mid tempos, good vocals, catching rhythm-section, brilliant, freezing guitar solos, and of course the same killer ballads, filled with deep emotions and etc. Another typical thing – the keys, which are far NOT boring and sounds just like proper suppliment (yeah, typical for Deep Purple etc). There aren’t anything new, this is typical hard’n’heavy from ‘80s, which didn’t got worth fame, but still rocks, hehe, more than rocks! I’m sure all the fans into old scene will be completely enjoyed by this brilliant from the past, and, moreover – all the fans into old scene MUST HAVE this album on their shelves, without any doubts. I like the whole album, but my personal most favorite tracks are – “Ready For The Action” (I do not know why, but while I listening to this song there are all my fucking life came in front of my eyes, really, really awesome and memorable song, filled with some majestic mood….), “Find Myself” (very emotional and really deep song), “Backstage Queen”, “On Stage”, “Second King Of Darkness”… Extrememly recommended for all the fans into Deep Purple, Rainbow and Black Sabbath!
