In Shadows and Dust, metal from France, a city call Saintgermainen-laye very near Paris.
When your band was created?
ISAD was born in October 2014.
What the style do you play?
This is difficult to answer this question, but listening to people all around, we play Death/Black Metal.
How could you describe your music by several words?
In Shadows and Dust music is created and crafted with guts, a lot of effort and feeling are going in our music, the release of our new album “Soul Crusher’’ the 21st of December has been pretty epic and very emotional.
What is the main theme of your lyrics?
Lyrics are mainly focus around personal feelings, society issues and people around the band.
What would you like to achieve with the band activity?
We want to share the music, play it loud and continue to play music as we love it. This is how it needs to be.
How many gigs you have played so far and maybe you visit another countries with concerts?
None and ISAD won’t do any show until further notice.
Is there anything very important about your band what SHOULD know fans and labels?
In Shadows and Dust is a one man project (the reason why no show) but being in the metal scene for many years now, having many friends around, played with several bands in the past, never say never, everything can happen. The main focus for now is to record music and share it.
What the formats you would like to see your releases, CD, Vinyl, Tape…? And how do you see future of physical releases?
Actually the last album is digital and a digipack will be release by the end of January 2015 (so many people requested, that became mandatory to satisfy their desire of owning a physical piece of In Shadows and Dust).
When you will get label deal, would you like to help to the label with promotion from your side, or you want label do all without your help?
There have already been few proposal, but not interested for now.
What’s your reaction towards negative opinions about your music?
I love it, use it to get better if the negative opinion is interesting, if this is just bullshit, I smile and ignore, there are so many positive out of this that the impact of negative person is minor…
And last question, how do you like our webzine, do you have some remarks towards its look or functionality?
I’m just getting around, but the fact you help underground band make you kinda special, so I dig it \m/
