With the recent successful release of the lyric video for “The Succession of Flesh”,COGNIZANCE are giving fans a further behind the scenes look at what went on behind the scenes during the making of their upcoming EP _INCEPTUM as they team up with Horns Up Rocks to deliver the goods.
“The Succession of Flesh” carries with it a guest vocal spot by SUFFOCATION’s Frank Mullen and a guest guitar solo by Eyal Levi (DAATH, MONUMENTS, REFLECTIONS, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, ARSIS), who also produced and tracked the entire EP.
_INCEPTUM, which is scheduled to be released in late 2014, also includes the drum work of Alex Rüdinger (THE FACELESS, CONQUERING DYSTOPIA), who has appeared on previous releases by the band. The arduous and lengthy recording process, which has spanned 5 studios and 2 continents, has been documented by notable film producer Tommy Jones of Videohammer Studios (TESTAMENT, SUFFOCATION, DEATH ANGEL).
Pre-orders are being accepted for _INCEPTUM until December 14th, 2014. The band is offering multiple bundle packages including a limited edition hand numbered copy of the EP along with a high quality print of _INCEPTUM signed by artist Dan Mumford (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, PARKWAY DRIVE).
