Despised Cruelty, black metal from Central Poland, Łódź.
When your band was created?
Mid-2013, but as solo project. In late 2015 we formed as a full band and recorded second demo EP.
What the style do you play?
First demo ‘Seasons’ from 2013 was a depressive/suicical black metal with folk-ish influence, but second one, ‘Fall of All the Divine’ is more melodic black metal with symphonic elements.
How could you describe your music by several words?
It is a music that flow through or veins, pure essence of our musical taste, wild black metal with melodic feeling and symphonic vibes.
What is the main theme of your lyrics?
First EP was all about nature and time passing, although the second one is our statement against all religions and blindness of thoughts.
What would you like to achieve with the band activity?
We want to play live as many times as we could. We don’t want any particular fame, we just want to express ourselves via our music.
How many gigs you have played so far and maybe you visit another countries with concerts?
We just started our rehearsals two months ago, so our gigs are just before us.
Is there anything very important about your band what SHOULD know fans and labels?
Stay true to yourself.
What the formats you would like to see your releases, CD, Vinyl, Tape…? And how do you see future of physical releases?
As many as possible. For now our music is available only in digital formats, but maybe in future it will change.
When you will get label deal, would you like to help to the label with promotion from your side, or you want label do all without your help?
When it happens we will spent our time and effort to help them as much as we could. The scene must support each other in any possible way.
What’s your reaction towards negative opinions about your music?
To be true, there was no negative ones since it was released, but if there will be any we will face it like a men, and we’ll try to give our best on next releases.

Despised Cruelty is a black metal band from Central Poland, Łódź. Formed in 2013, firstly as a solo project of Michał Bentyn. Then the fist demo EP ‘Seasons’ was released in July. Music on this release can be described as DSBM with folk influence. In late 2015 full line-up band was formed, and in march 2016 second demo EP ‘Fall of All the Divine’ was released. All independent. At the moment we do lot of rehs to start playing live.
