Hi Carla. Fine, thanks. I’m pleasured to answer your questions.

When was Napalm Storm formed?
In 2010, Michal and Fernando (the guitarists) were talking about forming a thrash metal band. That same year they contacted Alejandro to become the drummer of the band. Initially the project was called “Napalm” until 2013 when we decided to rename the band Napalm Storm. After few changes in the band formation, it was consolidated when I became the vocalist to record vocals of our first EP, Objective to kill, which I later combined playing the bass.

Last year you have released the debut album via WormHoleDeath records entitled ”Harmless Cruelty”. Tell me about it.
In late 2012 we were contacted by our producer, Wahoomi Corvi. He had listened to our music and was interested in us to record in his studio and edit our first album with the Italian label WormHoleDeath. After several months we got in touch  with Carlo Bellotti, manager of the label, we decided to go to Langhirano (Italy) to Wahoomi’s RealSound Studio who took over the production, recording and mixing of the album. The mastering was made by Tom Waltz who did a great job in his studio located in Boston (USA). “Harmless Cruelty” was released in digital format in May 2014. The same year was released the physical format in Europe and Japan.

Have you got good reviews about the album?
Actually we got several reviews from different European media and they were really good. We can’t complain.

Will you release new materials soon?
We’re working on the composition of new songs for our second album. Most are practilly done and we’re making just some arrangements for our new work to have the high quality we want.

What are the lyrical themes and also what are the influences?
The lyrics are about infamous policy which we are governed almost all over the world, manipulative religion, insanity, etc. Most of them were written by Alejandro and Fernando before I came into the band, but we’re including some “darker” and mythological lyrics of mine in our new album. Influences come from old school thrash metal but in a renewed sound. On this new album we define our own identity without ignoring this genre.

Any shows confirmed for this year?
We have several confirmed dates in Spain and we’ll be playing in Portugal soon. Few months ago we were opening for the Overkill concert in Rome. It’s our goal and what we more enjoy. The feeling with the public is the best!

Do you have a message for the fans?
We wish you enjoy “Harmless Cruelty” and have the chance to see us in our concerts. Greetings to all!

Thank you Carlos, all the best!
