Martyrvore “Obliteration”
Deathrune Records

Almost two years has been passed since this album has seen the light back in 2014, and last year it was re-released again, but in mighty Vinyl format. Well, I still remember this American horde, the first time I have listen to them about ten years ago, on the split CD they shared with Witch Tomb and which was released by Old Cemetery recs from USA. And if I still remember about Martyrvore – for me that means I have digged their stuff enough.

Martyrvore’s music is really cruel and merciless death/black metal, as it used to call – nuclear death/black metal, i.e. inspired by such gods like Blasphemy, Bestial Warlust, Angelcorpse and Sadistik Exekution, to name a few. And musicians able to do proper stuff, which, of course, can’t underline them in front of the gods, but it’s enough to get huge dose of attention from the fans of such deeply Satanic and devastating musickness. The entire album sounds in typical way, thus you’ll be tortured by nuclear death/black metal tunes, as well as some typical old-school death/grind feelings (for example – the song “Profanatitus Dom Mortuus De Christii”, typical blasphemic old-school death/grind, and partially similar even to Profanatica). The whole atmosphere is enough blasphemous and deeply obscure, what is really great as for me. All in all, “Obliteration” is a great smash-hit into the face of fucking wimps! Recommended to all sickos into blasphemous, blasting and bulldozing death/black metal chaos!

70/100
